Private online Music Lessons
Individual music lessons are one-on-one with an experienced instructor via secure video call. Our teaching methods involve a combination of traditional and contemporary music theory. Students will learn:

Lessons Currently Offered
PIANO
Ages: 5 years - Adult
From beginners to advanced students, the instructor will guide each student in traditional piano lessons at their own pace. The books depend on the student's skill level and experience. Typically they range in a set of 1-4 books and are between $25 - $40. Students need to have a piano or keyboard to practice on at home. Need to rent a keyboard? We can help. Experienced students may be invited to join one of our pop rock band ensembles.
VOICE
Ages: 7 years - Adult
Voice students who are looking to be a soloist, join a choir or tune up their voices for their own personal enjoyment love our voice lessons! Students will learn traditional voice training techniques including breathing, warm-ups, the solfege scale and ear training. Guided by the instructor, students will be able to pick songs to learn in genres that they enjoy. There is a $6.99 book fee. Students need to have a voice recorder to bring back and forth to lessons. (A voice memo app on a cell phone is perfectly suitable.) Experienced students may be invited to join one of our pop rock band ensembles.
VIOLIN
Ages: 5 years - Adult
Students will learn how to play the violin through traditional and Suzuki teaching methods. Students need a violin sized to them to practice on at home and bring to lessons.. Need to rent one? We can help. Books will vary in price and are dependent on the individual students' needs. Typically, they are $21.99 - $27.99. Experienced students may be invited to join one of our string ensembles.
VIOLA
Ages: 5 years - Adult
Students will learn how to play the viola through traditional and Suzuki teaching methods. Students need a viola sized to them to practice on at home and bring to lessons. We recommend Cassandra Strings in Algonquin, IL for viola rentals. Books will vary in price and are dependent on the individual students' needs. Typically, they are $21.99 - $27.99. Experienced students may be invited to join one of our string ensembles.
GUITAR
Ages: 7 years - Adult
Guitar students will learn music notation, tablature, full chords, power chords, riffs, licks, scales, and rock and blues styles. Students will need to have a guitar to practice on at home and bring to lessons. Need a rental? We can help. Books will vary in price and are dependent on the individual students' needs. Typically, they are $16.98- $33.98. Experienced students may be invited to join one of our pop rock band ensembles.
UKULELE
Ages: 7 years - Adult
Ukulele students will learn strumming techniques, ukulele facts and history, melody playing, moveable chords, tablature, scales, tremolo, and much more. Students will need to have a ukulele to practice on and bring to lessons. Books are $12.99.
CLARINET
Ages: 7 years - Adult
Our beginner clarinet lessons will cover breathing techniques, music notation, scales and note reading. Students need a clarinet to practice on at home and bring to lessons. We recommend Cassandra Strings in Algonquin, IL for clarinet rentals. Books will vary in price and are dependent on the individual students' needs.
